The 30-year-old striker earned the honour through a fan vote conducted on SüperOnBir, the official Turkish league platform for monthly and seasonal awards. In October, Onuachu scored two goals and provided one assist in three league matches, performances that made him stand out among the league’s top performers. His consistent displays earned him a place in the Monthly Best Eleven and ultimately the MVP award.
This recognition adds to Nigeria’s growing influence in Turkish football, coming shortly after Victor Osimhen’s win of the August edition of the same award. It highlights how Nigerian forwards continue to dominate the league and make a lasting impact abroad.
For Onuachu, the award marks another chapter in his revival story. After a challenging period in the Premier League with Southampton, he has rediscovered his best form since rejoining Trabzonspor.
