Casio Unveils the G-Shock Nano DWN-5600: The Ring-Sized Digital Watch with Full Functionality

Casio has redefined wearable innovation with the launch of the G-Shock Nano DWN-5600—a fully functional Casio Ring Digital Watch that condenses the power, toughness, and heritage of the legendary G-Shock DW-5600 into a ring-sized form factor.
Known for pushing the limits of design, Casio’s new G-Shock Nano series brings the brand’s signature durability to an unprecedented scale. Measuring just 23.4 x 20 x 7.5 mm and weighing only 6 grams, the DWN-5600 is about one-tenth the size of its full-sized predecessor, yet it retains the core toughness and technology that define G-Shock.
Despite its size, this mini marvel is no gimmick. The G-Shock Nano DWN-5600 features a 6-digit LCD display capable of showing time, calendar, dual time, and a 1/100-second stopwatch. Built to perform under pressure, it maintains the G-Shock standard of shock resistance and boasts a 200-meter (20 bar) water resistance rating, ensuring it stands up to real-world use.
Design-wise, the Nano preserves the instantly recognizable G-Shock DNA—from the squared digital face to the side buttons—crafted with an impressive level of micro detail. The adjustable ring band, made of bio-based resin, accommodates finger sizes between 48mm and 82mm, offering both comfort and sustainability.
Available in classic G-Shock colors—black, red, and yellow—the Casio Ring Digital Watch launches in Japan in November 2025 for ¥14,300 JPY (approximately $94–$110 USD). A European release will follow the same month, with a U.S. rollout expected shortly after.
With the G-Shock Nano DWN-5600, Casio fuses nostalgia, innovation, and wearable practicality, proving that toughness truly comes in all sizes.
